Hi I had a peek and have some feedback here:

Lighting effects: do they feel atmospheric, or are they a bit too much? The saturation could be turned down a bit or even adjusted based on how far the character is from the source. The various lanterns at full brightness and sat can be distracting when trying to keep track of the char on screen. The complete blackout effect can work but right now I think it makes each screen feel disjointed rather than a connected network of tunnels.

Bat and spider animations: how do they look in motion? Do they feel natural or distracting? The movement of the bats appear too uniform and seem to wander at random. Might help to just trigger them to fly past if the player get within a certain range.

UI for the mine cart controls (using the arrow keys): does it integrate well with the scene, or does it feel intrusive/out of place? They seem appropriate.

Music: does it fit the mood of the mine? Yes. The bat sfx could use variation tho.

*Art coherence: does everything feel visually consistent, or are there elements that clash? * Yes the graphical elements look cohesive but the full bright and sat for the lighting takes away from the atmosphere of the seemingly abandoned mine.

I hope this helps but just note that I don’t have the full context on what you’re going for so I’m assuming alot.

Even if you dont change anything, the game looks pretty good as is.

Hi!

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at it and write such detailed feedback, I really appreciate it.

It’s genuinely very helpful, and I’m happy to hear you think the game already looks well overall.

Thanks again and have a nice day!!!
