The first game has all assets loaded at once. To manually handle a smarter way to load and unload assets, I would need to implement the same method I'm using in the sequel at the moment and that would mean having to rewrite the whole game and replace every single asset reference in the game, aka every node in every dialog tree manually.

The game was released as designed to the intended platforms. I have no intention to spend hundred of hours to redo a game from scratch unpaid when we have a sequel to make.
