would have been nice to see in game the rules or even on the game page
eg red and blue can go into the magenta house

Thanks for playing, and great feedback! I could definitely make things more clear haha.
Just for reference, you need to either match the exact color (e.g. red goes with a red house, blue goes with blue house), or match the exact symbol (e.g. diamond goes with diamond house, etc.). So a red and blue can go into the magenta house, but only if they match the same symbol.
