in some places like Australia there are no alternatives, so we're forced to use it unfortunately or just miss out on certain things we wanna purchase.
i've had many problems with my bank blocking purchases in the past and signing up with any other bank is a huge ass headache when you lack a lot of the paperwork needed. paypal is just the most straightforward and hassle free way to buy anything online with just a few clicks. its just a shame that there arent really any other alternatives than a scummy ass company like paypal. Not trying to say theyre good but just trying to show why some people use it over a debit/credit card
