ubuntu20.04;  After about 10mins of trying to deduce why it wouldn't run, I realized that I had to install the 32bit version of libgtk2 and some other stuff (the screen selector kept just filling up the screen cycling through random colors).

Once I got past the screen selector, I still can't tell whether the game just doesn't have sound or whether that was another issue with the linux build, and [click to advance!] never went away, blocking some dialogue. Also, if you package it as tar.gz instead of .zip it will preserve the executable flag on the game file.

In the end I can tell that this game is very personal, thanks for sharing!

Thank you! Ah, when I created this game, I was extremely new to Unity so I didn't know how to publish it correctly. For example, I left the fullscreen option on because I didn't realize that despite telling Unity what aspect ratio to set for the game, it ignores that if it's on fullscreen! The blocked dialogue text problem might be because of that. Also, the game indeed has no sound. Thanks for the tip on tar.gz! I don't have linux myself so any linux problems I do apologize for.
