Things I would improve… the area that triggers the jump boost is waaaay too small and too precise. The jump itself is fine. Unfortunately, I realized far too late that there is a wall jump. An animation or even a single sprite frame would have been enough to give the player an understanding that they can jump off walls. Unfortunately, you don’t give the player enough time to react… in some parts it’s almost impossible. I like difficult games, but at times it feels unfair. In tight corridors, after a wall jump, you sometimes require a pixel-perfect jump—that can quickly become frustrating. For some players it might be motivating, but I think for the main player base it’s more discouraging.

The foundation is good, I like the audio design and the visuals. The gameplay unfortunately suffers a bit though… it feels very hard at first, and I think that might scare off a lot of players early on.
Despite all that, it’s still a good game—if you’re willing to invest the time to get into it.
