Dear itch team, please blacklist comments like this. The "updated version" this link points to contains malicious software that logs your key inputs and scans your computer for crypto wallets, as well as login credentials.
This issue has been going on for months now, and it's only getting worse. It's about time itch takes action against this, instead of standing idly by. I know for many users it's obvious that these comments are fake, but there are people out there that don't know that.
it's a pest, really. Think about a little kid thinking they'll get the new version and instead (at least from what I've found after reverse engineering one of the .exe's) get their computer encrypted by ransomware, and all their credentials are getting stolen. It's ridiculous that nothing happens to stop these spam bots...
