As the other guy said. 100 chapters was the plan.

however the game was originally published July 2020.

We are just halfway through and it's 2026 now.

There was also the devs other game Tropicali taking time off of this. (It's complete)

A new arc of the game is completed at the end of each year with each new chapter coming out approximately every month. So if you wanted to play everything that was out now and then come back every year or so for the next arc, that would be your best bet since the game probably won't be done until around 2029 or 2030 given the timeline we know.
