Interesting start of a game.

A few thoughts:

The tutorial shouldn't be mandatory, nothing here is really new for an experienced gamer.

The timer should probably stop when you reach an exit portal. Watching it time out because the portal loads slowly is annoying.

On the level finish screen watching the seconds (and other score) tick by that you just played is annoying. Either speed them up drastically, or just show the total, no real reason to count them. Currently, it takes almost as long as the level itself.

This can be skipped, by hitting the button.

If you start commenting down here, the game becomes deselected and you can't move around anymore. Everything else seems to function, choosing talents and directional firing, but not movement. Only way I figured out to get back in is to load the web page.

Thanks for checking it out!

We wanted tutorials in just in case - it's all pretty simple mechanics but you never know who'll be playing the game
Its pretty quick to get through and you can literally just run straight through it (but you probably wouldn't guess that)

Balancing the timer and the portal, even when charging, is still one of our core gameplay mechanics. I can see how it can feel tedious, but if you run out of time while charging, you will still fail the run, or start losing souls
So it's important to determine if you have time to fully charge it or not, its not just a free out to start charging

I'll take a look at the last one, I think that might be an Itch issue and not a game problem, but if I can get a solution in, I will (though if you have a controller to plug in, that might be a workaround, since the comment box shouldn't eat controller input like I expect it does for keyboard)

Thanks again for taking the time to play, and for the feedback!
