Connection to the theme: 5/5. I guess those were simpler times?

Enjoyment: 2/5. It gets pretty boring after wave 9 or so.

Presentation: 2/5. Can't say much about it, it's pretty plain and the lack of any music is really a shame, but it's not completely raw either.

Gameplay: 2/5. The gameplay loop comes down to running in circles around the planes spamming LMB, occasionally changing the routine to pick something up and to shoot.

Creativity: 3/5. The whole setting, the paper planes as enemies and a cardboard tube as a weapon are pretty unique I guess, but overall it's close to the general template of such games.

Thank you very much for this review, at first I just had an idea of a kid in a cereal box, and a cardboard castle, somewhere.

But after creating the character controller I realized I didn't have much time already (I was trying to perfect it too much), so I decided to make it a simple wave game. I was imagining something bigger, but this being my first complete game, and the time being short, and the jam being a simple mini-game jam instead of a bigger game, I didn't really think of something better and more unique than this.

I also had plans to improve the difficulty and balance the game overall, add more "juice" to it so it feels good, improve gameplay, maybe a bit more enemy variations, and what not. Maybe I'll continue working on the game after the jam, but I'm not sure if I will since the only reason I finished this game is that I was trying to be quick for the jam, and finishing things so quickly rewarded my brain and made me stay motivated.

Anyways thank you again for the review, sorry for this long comment, and good luck to your game! Hope it does well.
