I loved how the doll thinks through its existence. What makes a puppet different from a doll? A doll different from a human? A human different from a creation? Perhaps it all comes down to autonomy, or maybe even love...
Thank you for hosting the jam! This jam's been one of my first real forays into doll and kigu stuff, and it's safe to say that I'm hooked.
I don't think I could say what makes a doll different from a human, but I think it's fun to leave it up to anybody's interpretation. I think perhaps her emotions and that desire for independence are what make her "human" despite being made of wood. Thank you for the kind words!
