Finished all the normal modes. Here's some extra suggestions:

  • An option to always keep healthbars on.
  • With the Unit Repair upgrade, placing a Glue Mat on top of a full-health Glue Mat replensishes its glue.
  • If you're still looking for Scavanger variant ideas, here's two suggestions for the missing final tier variant:
    • A tower that attacks when you feed it scrap, like the Magnifying Grass from PVZ2
    • A refinery that stores its scrap indefinitely until you manually collect it. It starts out at a rate slower than the processor, but the rate increases over time the longer the scrap is stored. Rate resets when collected.

Also, how does gaining XP work? Some of my trashies (namely, Battery and Glue Mat) seem to be getting XP at abysmally slow rates, despite how much I've been using them. I know attacking is definitely a factor (my Lektrik Fan used to also get little XP until I got the variant that attacks faster, after which I was able to buy the rest of its variants after just one run with it) but what are the other factors?

yep
healthbars are going to be a permanent setting in the next update

i was thinking of being able to "repair" glue mats and replenish their glue yeah

scavenger with interest rate and manual collection lmao
that is in fact one of the many existing ideas for what 021 could be
so far i think its the best one

there are mainly two ways a unit gains xp
one is just from surviving a wave, which it will get a little xp from
the other one is from successfully doing whatever its meant to do
for lektrik fan this means dealing knockback
for gunner this means killing an exterminator
etc
thanks a lot for giving feedback on the xp rates tho
i dont usually get that even though i need it for balancing
