Hi there! Thank you for the comment. It's great to know that you're still excited the schlo project! I wish I had gotten more interested in continuing to update the website when it was still easier to access, but...we'll see what will come of it. Thanks for continuing to check it out.
The pictures were uncolored in chapter 4 as a stylistic choice, yes. I thought it was fitting for that point in the story. I also just like the simplicity of black-and-white drawings. I always spend too long coloring the pictures, so leaving a portion of them uncolored was helpful keeping down production time a little.
The storyline for Schlo is mostly prewritten, as I started working on the story long before starting to make the games you can see on here. I don't exactly have an answer for a concrete ending at this time, but I have some ideas of events leading up to an end of sorts.
As for my thoughts on my previous works, I think I've done some things that are truly interesting, in terms of the concepts. The releases I've done in the past year or so (I'm thinking starting from "schlo room explorer") have been very stylish, in my opinion. But I also thought the artwork from schlo complications was pretty good when I was making it, and it's kind of embarrassing to look at now. I think there's a way to make things still "appealing" and also a little bad, so I'm trying to keep a bit of the unskilled qualities alive in my artwork, even if I'm getting better in my drawing style. Like, in this new release, there are a couple of pictures that I think look bad, but they're, like, funny, so it's okay.
It's no problem to ask questions on here! It was like I got to do a mini-interview, which is fun. Thank you for curiosity. :)
