The updates come out approximately twice per year. They include all improvements from the VIP versions of vamX (which people subscribe and pay monthly for) but free forever (although much less frequent). There is another update coming soon. We want to release the January version for free but will wait to make sure there aren't any bug reports from the VIP users, then once this version is considered stable it will be released. Probably by the end of January.
