Space bar should work now! Also if you check settings, there is an infinite lives mode, or you can play level by level from the practice menu.
The level with the rolling platform i couldn't beat. I can swear i am touching the door but i fall on the spikes non the less. Maybe that is on purpose, but it doesnt feel like it is. Awesome game!
