SPILLING THE LEAVES OF TEA

I continue to share my development in making SPILLING THE LEAVES OF TEA fanzine.

I wrote an open call for material to be published in the pages of Spilling the Leaves of Tea. I published the call in a small but active gaming and nerd culture-oriented group on Facebook.  I'm planning to make a project page for the fanzine on itch.io. I've found interesting and fitting pictures for the magazine.  I may use one of the pictures of KamranAydinov as a cover picture.

For this fanzine jam, I listed games, assets, and computer programs. The list's material consists of thematic products. The theme is tea, teahouses,  tearooms, tea parties,  and related materials and activities. I've played and read games from the list. I have also written about my experiences with them. I've managed to write raw material for more than two pages.  I'm pleased with my progress. Got to mention as a happy sidenote: I'm excited that in GeekQuestions, Rayzg has suggested a thematic game (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/423675/chai-tea-jazz) for me to check out!

SPELLING THE LEAVES OF TEA

The column and section named Spelling the Leaves of Tea that will be published in Spilling the Leaves of Tea is reserved as a space for texts regarding thoughts and experiences about tea.  One of my indie gaming developer friends got interested in my fanzine project, and they promised to write about the meaning of tea to them. I will publish their material in the Spelling the Leaves of Tea section. In the published fanzine, in this section,  you will find text and word games for your amusement. I already have some game sketches. And obviously, I am open to material made by other creators.

All in all, I am happy with how the teaball of Spilling the Leaves of Tea is currently rolling. Thanx for everyone for giving me encouragement, comments, hints and tips, and even some material for the fanzine!
