Aww, thank you so much for the kind words, that really means a lot. I couldn't even hold a candle to Poncle but I truly appreciate the comparison. Keeping Serenitrove free is actually a big part of what motivates me. I'm always a bit afraid of the expectations and pressure that come with monetization, and I feel like it could affect my decision making, the pace and the game direction. I do plan on creating other games with monetization in mind, but for Serenitrove I want it to be a space where I can fully follow the vision I had for it without external factors influencing those choices.
