Game looks fun, but as of right now a lot of the UI elements are difficult to navigate outside of fullscreen.

You're totally right about the UI feeling a bit cramped outside of fullscreen right now. We take every single comment super seriously (yours included!), and UI/UX improvements are a huge priority. We're still in the early stages of polishing it, but big upgrades for better navigation, scaling, and mobile-friendly layouts are coming very soon (next patches already in the works).
