Since it is mentioned nowhere, are the spaceflight controls exactly the same as in the original Elite? So no yaw (turning left and right) at all?

Hi! 

There is an option in Menu->Controls to disable YAW. This will give the original Elite control scheme.

When I play this way I also turn off "capture mouse input" and I bump up the ROLL and PITCH sliders to give it a bit more swing.
