HI hello hi this is my first ever community post lol

I must say this is one of the rare gems of web platformer that is actually comfortable to play  .The art style is incredibly adorable and cute. I especially love the thumbnail and the banner for the game. The map design is quite nice and the pixel art style is really fitting. I also like the movement here as it is quite smooth. The music also really nice and fun for a platformer game. I have no comment on the intro to the game other than good intro and it gives lore I guess (not really into lore lol, just in general)

For my suggestions I have a few :

  • The ladder could use improvement, option to climb and to exit the ladder (obvious)
  • The option to choose the level (you have to avoid so it quite annoying to me, but maybe that the game design idk)
  • Separate the climb floor and solid floor (alright to me but visually unappealing)
  • Game screen scaling (web version uses different aspect ratio idk? )

Overall , if I give the game a rating out of all the plat games I played, I’d give it 8/10. Not too hard, not too easy but fun game and good movement. I will also look forward to the finished game and levels that the game will bring :D (that is if you decide to actually finish the game lol)

Oh yeah,  my friend also really like the game ! So I guess you did a great job making it :D

Spot-on review! Just want to add a suggestion: make the leaves slightly transparent when the character is behind them And yeah, the web version has such a wide screen, it feels like cheating xD

Well, I used Godot for this game, so is the wide screen just a default setting for your computer, or is there an option on either itch.io or Godot that lets me have a fixed screen resolution?

Can you enable full screen for the game?

Developer

I don’t know how to do that in Godot yet. That’s why I’m asking somebody if they know on how to add full screen to their games in Godot. Glad you liked the intro btw.

just enable the full screen button option on itch
