  • One of my favorites. I love how many elements are involved, and shooting downwards is such a nice touch! Just wish the player moved a bit slower for better control.

Great game! Ok only 1 last critique. Needs music :D. YOU sir have a great game here.

Doc one because its “DONT” fall off the cliff and one for music. Everything else about this game is awesome.

Ok just confirmed. This game is definety has a bug when the gamepad is connected.

also SUPER fun! Nice work!

So much strategy invovlved here. I love it. I thought at first my score was just falling, but THEN I realized it would about shooting things on the way down.

for the most part it is “on theme” I mean… fall off a cliff DONT fall off a cliff.. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ same difference :D. I think it counts. Get the joystick working! this one is a top contender for sure

can I ask what kind of gamepad you're using so I can resolve the issues 

I tested with a Bluetooth Xbox controller it was functional

It’s a zero delay usb encoder custom build joystick. Generally looks like a generic gamepad driver. I have an xbox controller as well I’ll try.

might just be me… but I can’t get this game to start?

also you need to map joystick and buttons to this game to be competitive. enough games have done it that this LIKELY will won’t make the cut w/o it unless it is SO original it moves a mountain

Really cool submission! Downwell is one of my favourite games and I can tell this is a love letter to it. Just a heads up, not sure if your physics are tied to the refresh rate but it feels like the game runs at super speed. Maybe it's just a skill issue on my side lol
