Gorgons are humanoid beings known for their hair, which is comprised entirely of live snakes. They are almost entirely female, with male gorgons being completely undocumented.
Gorgons possess the ability to petrify those who gaze into their eyes. This ability has claimed the life of many adventurers who were not prepared for a gorgon encounter. It is advised to not make eye contact. Keep you eyes towards the ground.
