I'm on a ASUS laptop. I don't know what you need to figure out what my problem is, so here are the specifics of my system.

Are you running from the itch.io launcher or did you extract the zip file and run the vektor.exe file? If you're running it from inside the zip file it might not work.
I downloaded it manually and extracted it from the zip file, so the problem isn't there.
Also, avast tried to quarantine the game's exe.
