there's something about visual novels originating from eastern european authors (namely nikita kryukov and etherane) which always teeter this line between hopefulness and hopelessness. an absurdity in character interactions and settings, and yet an overarching emptiness that gnaws its way into your heart and wants to make you scream until your lungs give out once it's over. wonderfully made, beautifully done. wasn't aware of ferry's work past the song "anger management" when it came on my recommendations a few years ago, but i'm glad to have stumbled upon this. i like to think this find was predetermined.
