Oh that's bad.. The whole image is just noise? If you go to the option menu with the button on the upper right and set Graphics > Quality to "low" does it solve the issue?
I have the exact same issue, M3 MacOS, yeah the whole screen is noise. Changing resolution flashes the correct image up, before it fades into pure noise in a second. Setting the quality to low did fix it, but that was quite hard to do given I could only see the options for a fraction of a second.
