Sorry for being abrupt. I just purchased this asset and plan to make my own game, but I don’t have much background in game programming. I just saw the Godot game demo you made, and I was wondering if you could share the project files of this demo? I want to learn the logic behind the cat’s movement in it.

Thank you for your interest in the project, however, unfortunately the code in this game was developed in a hurry and is actually very weak. There are a lot of stupid decisions in it, the correction of which I left for later. But when developing, I relied mainly on the classic FSM pattern. Most of the solutions are based on these two videos (

) (

). In general, these authors have an incredible amount of materials and tips for writing good code. Many of my projects have become better thanks to their videos.

Game development is really a very difficult path and I wish you strength, patience and success on your way😁

Thank you. I actually have little to no experience with game programming and am currently developing my game using AI tools. Right now, I'm running into issues with the collision between the cat character and items—for example, there are consistent problems with the angle, position, and even layer order when the cat is eating.

Would it be possible for you to share the project files related to this part so I can analyze and learn from them? If yes, please send them to my email: bloodywing@gmail.com

Thank you again!
