I apologize for the inconvenience, nothing leaps out from the scripts on a quick look.
How did it crash in the TOWN HOME? The bed reacts to GLAIVE, as does the WEEPING EYE, and you mention teleporting perhaps playing into it.
Something perhaps like...it thinks you have the GLAIVE but don't? Or expects the GLAIVE but lacks it?
I wish I could see all the flags and dissect your save state. If you wanted to email the ".lsd" file of that save I could look deeper into it.
Tomorrow I will probably check more into it.
During this second run the first things I did in town were:
>Keys to church, get glaive fast
>Defeat the descender asap
Second question, are you supposed to be able to get the home tome at any point of the quest?? I was unable to get it during my first run and I wasnt able to get it on this one. I considered modding it but I need to know if you can still get it after the lovely old ppl reunited.
Third thing I had trouble in my first run is I would get trapped/stuck by the remains after defeating the blood swamp worm. I redid that fight 3 times until I went very carefully to not get cornered by the corpse and the environment.
But yes, tomorrow I will check it out once I get home.

I want to make treats for LEWIS but im confused as to how to. Im on combining page and I cant seem to get it right, Im trying to use the cauldron for it. I can cook the meat but I cant add the SPICES or TREAT. maybe Im proceeding in wrong order.
Also noticed my first copy of the game wouldnt make .lsd files, seems the directory it chooses to be saved is the same directory my rpgmkr200 uses for games developing so there is that, I created another folder on desktopfor the second copy of the game and now I have .lsd files creating.
LEWIS TREATS are freeze-dried meat over COLD FLAME. You can improve their quality by using TREAT MEAT iirc, freeze that and a few basic MEAT and they stack (or something).
SPICES or TREAT are added to FLOUR before it is added to MEAT, then MEAT is cooked in BOILING OIL. Better MEAT freeze dries into better LEWIS TREAT, I believe. Better LEWIS TREAT is worth higher XP.
