The coworker’s name doesn’t appear yet because, at this point in the story, we don’t know her background, perspective, or struggles. We only ever tell her ours and never ask about hers 😄 You can see the same narrative pattern with the boss as well, we only learn his name once we learn his story and his problems. So this was a deliberate narrative choice.
