i wanted to see dialog for the female MC so i restarted for one and ended up being unable to do the adult slime quest because athur got stuck in his "come back later" loop and all I did was enter and focus on that one quest. is it a bug for the Female MC or a bug in general that could be causing this?

Sorry to hear this, It's the bug That I try to fix for awhile now, Look like the bug will keep coming up randomly if I not get rip of it for good.
For the temperary fix, please reload the save that is before the visiting fern step or wait for arthur in 2 days to make the quest skip thise part completely(I already code it to make the step skip go seeing fern and waiting for his research entirely). If the save is already in that part I afraid the quest won't continue.

also i didn't have a bad experience it was just a minor issue I couldn't solve on my own, playing otherwise was pretty fun. besides I learned how to speedrun the start pretty well so I can reach that part pretty quick now lol
