Yes this is a bug with the mobile port, I've fixed it in the 1.0 build, planning to deploy in the next day or two.  Apologies for the errors!

I started playing yesterday (so v1.0) on my iPad and when I opened my browser this morning (still v1.0) my save was gone. I refreshed the page and the version updated to 1.1, but I’m reluctant to start over in case this happens again—especially with a patch note saying that the endgame has been made slower.

Have you tested this on mobile?

If you're on the same device, the save should be compatible as long as it was from version 1.0 or later.  I test on PC (firefox and chrome) and iPhone (firefox and safari) when deploying.  I'm working on an export/import feature to transfer progress between devices.  Cheers!

Just FYI, I tested it again and it still seems to fail. Right after posting that comment I played through about 20% of the first deck. Returned to the page just now and there’s no save, no progress. 🤷🏻‍♀️ If I play again it’ll be on desktop; not sure any godot games save properly on iOS/iPadOS.

That's odd.  I also just tested on my device (iPhone 16e, iOS version 26.1) on both firefox and safari and worked.  I'll keep digging and see if I can track down the issue.  Thanks for your report!
