1. Yes, saves are planned to staiy compatible with all future version. So all progressing can be carried over once a new version arrives.
2. Currently I haven't decided that but I do like to include some later on. But work on bad ends would only start after the game has a final boss and can be beaten. So yes there is a good chance for them but not in the near future.
