Hi Quinnfernal, when you gain one level of legacy in a life stage, you can still play subsequent rounds -- it doesn't have to end immediately! There are essentially 12 possible rounds where you can mark off a level of legacy (that's the 3 rounds per 4 life stages) so you can definitely reach more than 4. Hope that helps.
