Do I need a steam key to play this or was that instruction for purchasers from steam? Was a little confused there.

Hi there! Yes, those instructions are generic, but you don't need a Steam Key to play it. If you got the game through the Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality, you can access the DRM-free version of the game. Unfortunately, Steam Keys were removed to avoid key resellers :(

Understandable! Will the game have achievements to unlock? (Had to ask since I wonder if those are exclusively for steam other than the key itself)

We plan to add achievements in the future, but I think these will be exclusive to Steam, unless there's a similar feature on itchio.
