Hey, I’ve been playing Lust Shards for a while now, and I just wanted to share my thoughts on the game, especially with the recent updates. Honestly, I can’t help but feel a little disappointed about the Alvy route. I get that it’s one of the more dramatic arcs, but the fact that you die at the end? I really didn’t see that coming, and it was a pretty heavy blow for me. I guess I was hoping for a different outcome, something where maybe you get to keep going with Alvy or explore more of his story. I know it’s part of the game’s complexity and the risks that come with branching routes, but it still felt like a gut punch.
On a more positive note, I absolutely love the depth of lore in this game. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the world-building, and I really appreciate how rich and intricate the lore is. It’s not just something that’s added in for fluff – it’s tied to everything, from the characters’ motivations to the overarching story. You can tell that the creator really wanted to make something that felt alive and immersive, and it really shows. It’s rare to see such a well-thought-out narrative in a game like this.
Speaking of the lore, I loved the Tate route, not just for the romance or drama, but for how much it added to the backstory and the overall world-building. The route was such a well-crafted experience, both lore-wise and branch-wise. The way it branched off and offered different outcomes depending on choices felt satisfying, *Like Merina route* and the lore tied into it perfectly. Honestly, I feel like the Tate route is one of the best parts of the game, and I’m really impressed with how it was developed.
Now, I have to mention Dallan because, wow – what a cute character! His storyline was so charming and honestly gave me a lot of positive vibes throughout. His interactions felt sweet and heartfelt, and I was really invested in his journey. It’s nice to see such a wholesome character amidst all the other intense arcs.
On the flip side, though, I really have to say I’m not a huge fan of Aiden. I know a lot of people seem to find Tate annoying (and I get it, he’s a bit rough around the edges), but for me, Aiden’s constant attitude and behavior were way more irritating. It’s just one of those personal preferences, but I found myself feeling frustrated with him more often than not. I guess it just shows how diverse the game is in how players perceive the characters!
I’m also super excited for Scribble’s route! I can’t wait to see how it develops. It’s always great when a new route opens up because it adds so much potential for new dynamics and deeper storytelling. The game keeps surprising me, and I’m pumped for what’s to come.
Lastly, I just want to say a huge thank you to the creator, MindOfFur. The dedication and hard work you’ve put into this game over the past 3 years are so obvious. It’s clear that you care deeply about the project and the fans, and I really appreciate how much effort goes into making something this expansive and detailed. You’ve created an experience that’s both fun and emotionally engaging, and I can’t wait to see where you take it next!
Thanks again, and keep up the amazing work. You’ve earned a loyal fan in me!
