The combat looks nice, specially knowing we will get new characters soon. The combat style is similar to 'Magic Academy' by Wild Pear but you can't really customize your combat strategy like 'Magic Academy' yet (could change in the future seeing that we have a weapon slot and could have other equipment slots, like a flintlock or something magical)

One of the differences these two games have on their combat system is that you know the opponent's next action. (If the opponent's next action is not a combat action you can safely do a full damage turn, which I find interesting, the whole "finding windows of opportunity" thing). So while both games have shield spells and effects that grant shield, 'Magic Academy' makes it last for only 1 turn, as opposed to 'The Sea Wolves''s shield lasting forever.

only reason i'm talking about that is because for now there is no way to heal the characters, so my Silva is at literally 1 HP (  '-_-)
