Really love the implementation of the theme. Top marks there! I got to level 5 and wasn't presented with any upgrades at any point though. Ringing a bell to recharge the flashlight seemed a bit random though. Very enjoyable game though!
The upgrades are purchased on the title screen. I tried to make it kind of like Hades or Rogue Legacy where you can purchase permanent upgrades that help all future runs. I will make that more clear in the future, thank you for the feedback :)
