There's a lot of options. Depending on the engine you may have internal tools for creating an atlas out of a png like this, which lets you identify individual sprites to use.

Or you can use a tool like TexturePacker or https://www.codeandweb.com/free-sprite-sheet-packer to isolate each sprite you want (but then you have to read the map generated yourself via code probably).

Or if you want to go very manual you can slice out individual sprites yourself using gimp. Just select the sprite, crop the content, export, undo, repeat. Annoying but if you only need a few sprites not too bad.
