not even close to the first game... quite a dissapointment :( much less secrets, much less interesting environment, I got tired of very dense snowfall pretty fast, you don't get a weapon for too long, there is less enemy variety (and the most common enemies are snowmen and two visually almost identical from the distance santas), difficulty feels lower with some exceptions (with parkour being annoyingly difficult sometimes) and most importantly yellow snow has no gameplay role...!!! could have yellow toxic snowballs to throw at enemies or piss spots that damage you, but it does nothing... also everything is too white and it gets annoying an boring very fast. why there is no christmas lights or lanterns for example? I would not be so dissapointed if I have not played the first game, which is a masterpiece (I checked and it still is)...

Thanks for the feedback!
To be clear, Operation:Yellow Snow is a small, seasonal Christmas-themed dlc, not a sequel, and it was never meant to match the scope of the original Dead Trash, which had a much longer development cycle.
Its a shorter experience from a different angle.
Operation: Yellow Snow is just a slang, military-style codename for toxic sludge in the snow. Its part of the atmosphere and setting, not a literal promise of a specific gameplay mechanic.
The game does include christmas lights and decorations, but they’re intentionally not plastered everywhere. The idea was to keep the game playable outside of the holiday season as well.
There might be fewer, but there are at least 2 or more secrets per level (excluding the final level).
Sorry it didn’t live up to your expectations, but I appreciate you giving it a try and taking the time to share your thoughts.
Merry Christmas!
