I felt the same about the Dread X Collections, 1-4 were great then they made 5 which ran terribly and had only a few good games but the developer took that critique as an insult and will never make another. Hopefully Haunted PS1 won't fall into the same spiral.

DreadXP primary drive was to make money, they're a business, and they stopped making DreadX collections cause it wasn't making as much money as they wanted.
Haunted PS1 makes these collections for the love of the game, and we'll keep making them so long as the community enjoys doing so.
Reading the room in the discord server, that love isn't going away any time soon.
