Hi,

I would like to ask some clarification about the Map:

1) In which neighborhood(s) are supposed to arrive the hunters?

2) Are the dark red/brown lines the borders of the neighborhoods? If not, which are?

I take the occasion for a couple of questions about the game itself

1) How "stun" works?

2) Why the "Waste of Skin" origin? The options for the origin, and therefore for the abilities, are already few, why wasting one?

Thanks

Hi! Here your answers:

1. The map is supposed to be a tool for the GM, when they prep the game. So, the hunters will arrive in the area that the GM decided to be the "start of the hunt".

2. Yes

3. Stun work as a narrative framing situation: if you stun an enemy, the enemy can have trouble moving, reacting, or making a move. However, it depends on the enemy - perhaps it's a monster immune to stun - again, this depends on the GM's preparation.

4. It's a reference to the From Software games (on which Bloodstone is inspired by): there is always a "class" like that, so I added it to the game as homage.

I asked because I got an idea for a 'Start the Hunt action' where the Hunters select from which district (North, Est Sud or Ovest) they want to start the Hunt, after GM has select, secretly, the cathedral.

Understood. I know the games but never played. I like the atmosphere of the games, but I'm too old to 'git gud' on soulslike

Thank you

The idea of the "start the hunt action" is very cool. I have a bunch of draft in my notebook about "special effects / events" in different districts, but I need to find the time to put on the map.
But, of course, you can create something like that by yourself!
