forgive the late aah reply

I’m really glad you enjoyed it

I’ve kinda given up by the end, since it was dawning on me how much I need to explain in order for the player to understand what they are supposed to do. I also wasn’t quite satisfied with some of the decisions I’ve made, the crappy mouse controls, which I already spent some time re-doing, and I was annoyed that I didn’t spend more time on the jam.

The artist (Mylapqn) did a great job with the ship and the light shader for the spotlights, despite being sick most of the jam.

I had some mystical mechanics in mind, like carving runes onto asteroids, or having rituals that would interact with the flow more globally, but at the time I didn’t really see how exactly would I fit one in, so I didn’t add any by the end.

I don’t enjoy re-visiting ideas, so I’ll likely never make Spiritek: Actually Playable Edition, so I just hope I’ll learn from the mistakes I made here.

Again, thanks for playing, and the feedback. Merry Christmas.
