This starts so melancholy, and I absolutely adore the sounds being used -- while subtle the low end is alive which gives me a sense of vastness.  I think the brighter electric piano could have benefited from some slight reverb.  I found myself desiring a more oomfy sort of underlying beat when the percussion finally kicks in but the build up to that point was great.  Compression can help your drums punch more through the mix, I'd also reccomend giving the percussion some reverb so it sits in the space rather than underneath it. The cymbals/ride of the drums are quite lovely.  I love the way the melody progresses and I can feel a lot of emotion in this track, maybe a sense of yearning?   I could also see this in a deep sea exploration game. It's quite pretty and reflective and having that it is way more important than having a perfect mix imo! Good job! I love it.

Thank you so much! I'm glad I was able to evoke those feelings. I'm definitely still learning a lot in regards to mixing, so I appreciate your critiques!
