devs need to relearn the art of optimizing their damn games
They usually aren’t devs but artists, they use zero-code drag’n’drop tools like UnrealEngine and slap scripts they found online together and claim that “As an artist I made it myself!” while never hiring professional programmers and then going on a crusade against AI art being bad for taking jobs… Get used to it.
As a programmer, I can tell you that we have been replaced years ago…
