Almost every game has a buy new update free by downloading the current version. however there are a few games (Deluded is one) that state in very small print that each update is considered a separate purchase.
If a game you buy has an update you will receive an email however if you try to click the emailed links it will request you "buy" it again. Instead click the top right corner of the screen (scroll to top click down arrow -> click my library -> select download on the game or view all if you own more than you can see by scrolling through them on the side.
