The art style of the game is great and it feels like an overall very polished game.
Sadly I could not enter full screen to play the game, which caused the issue that the "1" of the orb-counter looked like a "4", which is why I was confused that I could not afford certain items. Speaking of certain items, I really like that you focused on the MV-aspects of the game, e.g. that the first boss you encounter is very difficult to beat unless you explor and find some more items.
What I think could have been "better" is that the enemies feel a bit spammed, like being placed for the sake of filling empty space and/or giving you enough orbs to buy items, but this is critique on a very high level and not really to serious given that this is a game jam.
