So, this is set a little beyond the GD? I'm sorry if there's a calendar or something I missed, but by that, this should take place roughly around the 40s. The forties, with robots, which is something can really dig. SO, actually, can I hear more about these robots? The AI in them is clearly decades above modern AI, as well as the general robotics. I work a bit with robotics so I would love to ask a ton of questions about their power source , motor skills, and why they seem vulnerable to small firearms etc, but I'm more interested on why robotics seems so advanced but not much else. It seems to me like the Volkovs either exclusively or semi-exclusively possess the technology, and also that robotics is very new but very quickly replacing inefficient and redundant human job. How common is robotics in this universe, and is there a reason for why they are so advanced besides that Nasha is a genius? Sorry for the long post, but I'm tired and out of potatoes
For the year, the game takes place in, you can figure it out if you look at Evan's painting. It tells you what year he died (The current one.)
As for the robots, I had some designs for how the robots worked back when I was working on the game's prototype. The designs aren't up to date, but I can tell you this much: The Ai & power source sre stored in the robots head. Anything motor skill related is in the torso. Robots are not common at all in this universe. The Volkovs are the only ones with them & it's only thanks to Nasha & Jacob working together.
