  • This was such a sweet story about moving forward to see tomorrow despite what the future might hold. In ways, I can relate to Bella's anxieties and wanting to escape to another land or world where all my troubles would be a faraway thought. But in the end, running away is never the answer and having people like Rigel in her life is what we all need to help us overcome our fears and live to see tomorrow. Excellent use of the jam's theme here, loved seeing how the events leading up to Bella's coma was what actually killed her and made her stay in Neverland! I loved the use of the watercolor effect on the backgrounds when you entered Neverland It gives this enchanting "dream-like" effect that works perfectly for the world. Not much in terms of cinematography, Would've loved some camera movements or additional visual effects aside from the watercolor + white border around the Neverland BGs.
  • I love the gentle vibe of this VN and its clean presentation. Even though the background images are pre-made, the editing quality is nicely consistent. The BGM choices also complement the story’s atmosphere well. I enjoyed the little CG moments in the game, though I do wish the characters were more visually expressive and the climax of the story to be presented more dramatically.

How does this project relate to the jam theme? (Judge Question)

Developer

Iya nih. Maunya juga gitu, tapi ga sempet ; ;

Makasih udah main btw

Ferris Wheel and the World's End is a touching story with a serious note about the reality of things and the desire to escape. People matter... to each other and, in their actions, to the grander scheme of things. I enjoyed the story all the more because its messages, which made it deeper and more poignant, made the relationship between Bella and Rigel more real and relatable as the details were presented. I felt for them and had hope for the future. I highly recommend it.
