when you go to this hole your temperature falling should stop. And going out is possible using wall with some kind of stairs and you will go out.
there is also a fireplace there so you can warm up
maybe way out was not clear enought but you can go out and we and our testers tried it so it is possible.
We didn't want to make game easy, that is why we tried to "hide" some gifts and we are glad that it was quite hard for you
