Kind Animals Little Cards Version 0.3 "Grasshopper" - Summer and Spring, 10 plus
New little cards about animals—what could be more interesting? Each card is a small program written in Visual Basic. It contains a picture and a story about the animal. This version adds 8 new animals. There are definitely more than 10 in total, and now 15. There are 15 of them! 15 animals. 15 pictures. 15 stories.
And to help you navigate this diverse world, two programs have been created: a small list and a start icon. Both programs allow you to launch a card directly. Essentially, it's a list. And from there, you launch the card. About the animal.
The Little List first appeared in the previous version. And now the software has reached version 0.2. This version features an automatic card search. Sooner or later, that moment will come. When there are a lot of cards, it's great to have a list at hand to help you navigate them. You launch everything from there. This is the simplest, most text-based, minimalist list. The program launches and begins searching for cards using a built-in search pattern. It finds everything in the Cards folder.
And the Icon Start program has the same idea. But with pictures. A more visual style. Banners like those on the internet. And you launch everything from there. With a small preview image in the style of internet banners. Like they used to be. Previously, many such banners could be collected in one place. And it was simply beautiful. Like a collection of icons on a denim jacket.
Version 0.1 of this program is the most basic version. It shows the idea. And everything is done simply by writing paths.
And the cards themselves are the most important thing. This time we have a beaver, a rabbit or a hare, a shrew, a lark, a mole, a grasshopper, and a crane. Bright pictures. Which were drawn a long time ago. There are some about summer. And spring. You can read and think about the little animals. Who live in their own magical world. Almost the same as ours here. But a little different. Kinder and smarter. As they say.
There, the little animals are busy with their own things. Flying, resting. Pottering about in the garden. They have enough to do every day. Then spring comes there too. And the world begins to come alive. To thaw. Birds return to these familiar places. A pleasant meeting. To return home after winter.
Or the mole. He lives where it's always summer for him. There, his own world and different places. Somewhere, the grass is always tall and green. There, in an abandoned garden, lives a white-toothed shrew. Some kind of rodent. Like a mouse. Or also a mole.
And we forgot the main thing. The main thing in this version is him, the grasshopper. So green. And the grass is as green as he is. He's a musician. The grasshoppers in these parts are amazing musicians. They sing and compose. It's worth visiting their world. And listen to these musicians sing. You could say they're the summer's main singers. These are the grasshoppers.
The word "grasshopper" is the name of the version. It's already version 0.3. And this is already moving forward. More animals have arrived. More animals have appeared. And we look at their cards. We read their interesting stories. And we look at the picture. The most important part is the cards. Just pictures and stories. And all sorts of animals are there.
And the grasshopper is a fine fellow. Such a green musician. A big grasshopper. You've never seen such a summer wonder. He sits in the grass. And composes. Little by little, it becomes more and more interesting. The number of animals increases. And we get to know their world. Somewhere, there's only summer. Endless summer!
That's wonderful, really. And somewhere, like ours, there's both winter and spring. And the birds have to fly back and forth. And the grasshopper still sits in the grass and plays a musical instrument. He's a musician! And summer is all around! Lots of cards and lots of events. Lots of animals and lots of stories. 10 plus, as they say.
