how complete is the game?

The browser version should not lose your save, unless you clear the browser’s local storage or your browser has security policies that delete it (I think Firefox mainly does this, but it depends on how you have it configured).
I recommend the executable version, it’s more stable, doesn’t depend on itch.io’s servers or your browser, and ensures you won’t lose your data unless you delete it yourself.
